CLINICAL ACTIVITIES
Primary and consultative cardiology care and interpretation of noninvasive cardiology studies at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden, New Jersey, and at the Voorhees, Camden, Marlton and Berlin Divisions of the West Jersey Health System.
Primary and consultative cardiology care and interpretation of noninvasive cardiology studies at Underwood Memorial Hospital, Woodbury, New Jersey, and at Hahnemann University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Primary and consultative cardiology care and interpretation of noninvasive cardiology studies for patients of Associated Cardiovascular Consultants, Haddonfield, New Jersey.
Principal investigator for the PURSUIT Trial - A randomized double blind evaluation of the efficacy and safety of two dosing regimens of integrelin versus placebo for reducing mortality and myocardial re-infarction in patients with unstable angina and non Q wave myocardial infarction at the West Jersey Hospital, Voorhees Division, and West Jersey Hospital, Marlton Division, study sites.
Principal Investigator for the ENABLE Trial - a multicenter, double-blind, placebo controlled, randomized study of the effects of Bosentan given twice daily for estimated average followup for 18 months. The primary objective is to evaluate the effects of Bosentan on patients with chronic heart failure.
Principal Investigator for the SAGE Trial - A prospective, randomized, double-blind, multi-center study comparing the effects of aggressive lipid lowering with moderate lipid lowering on the reduction of myocardial ischemia in the elderly as measured by Holter monitoring by comparing two statins.
Principal Investigator for the IMPACT Trial - The impact of medical subspecialty on patient compliance to treatment. Also, it is designed to better define the risk of liver function test abnormalities in a broad group of patients taking Advicor.
Principal Investigator - CLARITY Trial - Clopidogrel as adjunctive reperfusion therapy - thrombolysis in myocardial infarction - TIMI 28
Principal Investigator - ATTACH Trial - Assessment of Toprol XL taken in combination with hydrochlorothiazide. (2003-2004)
Sub-Investigator -OASIS 5 Trial - Evaluating the efficacy and safety of Fondaparinux vs. enoxaparin in acute treatment of unstable angina or non-ST segment elevation MI ACS.
Principal Investigator - Early ACS (2004)
Principal Investigator - CAPABLE (2004)
Principal Investigator - Coreg (2005-2006)
Sub Investigator - Re-Ly (2006)
Sub-Investigator - Improve-It (2006)
