WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NON-INVASIVE AND INVASIVE CARDIAC TESTING?

Cardiology testing is divided into two types: non-invasive and invasive. Non-invasive tests do not require a visit to the hospital and include tests such as stress testing, echocardiography, Holter monitoring and pacemaker evaluations.

Tests such as catheterization and electrophysiology studies or procedures such as angioplasty, atherectomy or pacemaker implants are considered to be invasive procedures. At ACC we offer both non-invasive and invasive tests which makes it convenient for you.
